Pick-to-Light/Put-to-Light Systems are automation systems used in warehousing and order fulfilment applications to optimize the process and improve accuracy. These systems are composed of lights, sensors, and a control system. Lights are mounted to racks, shelves, and containers, and when an item needs to be picked, the light illuminates. This indicates to the operator where to pick the item from. Once the item has been picked, the light is deactivated, ensuring that the item has been picked.
