Vickers and Knoop hardness tests are very useful for materials evaluation, quality control of manufacturing processes, and research and development efforts. Our product ranges from manual to fully automatic load cell-based, close loop solutions which cover micro indentations as well.

  • Horizontally rotating turret with four slots for magnification lenses and two for indenters
  • Automatic indentation reading through the camera
  • Load forces are applied through load cells and controlled in “Closed Loop” with a frequency of 1 kHz, assuring perfect linearity in every range
  • Manual XY table 100x100mm with 10 μm step
  • The ergonomic and handily wheel on the tester side controls the Z stroke
  • The vertically sliding chromed spindle provides stable support for the specimen
  • Perform reliable tests even on multilevel or misaligned sample surfaces
  • With software-controlled focus, image cleaning, shading correction, and DC regulated light source, reproducible results are obtained regardless of the number of indents measured
  • Solid and compact workbench with a large locker to accommodate the computer, console, and cables
