Role & Responsibilities

  • Generate & successfully convert sales leads for SMT manufacturing /automation projects with SMT line equipment like SPI, AOI, pick & place machine, printer, reflow oven, soldering equipment, Board handling units, laser marking, routers, inspection equipment, robotics equipment, automation equipment, testing equipment, coating & dispensing equipment, soldering consumables and other related products related to electronics industry.
  • Manage sales pipeline across industries such as SMT manufacturing /automation projects – lead/ enquiry generation, work scoping, sales proposal & pitch, negotiation and contracting
  • Establish connections with OEM’s & EMS project managers of B2B clients through repeated reach-outs for identifying sales prospects
  • Identify RFQ and shortlist suitable ones-based discussions with solutions, product, and project team, work closely with solution team / external consultants to respond to RFQs
  • Engage client teams, OEM and internal execution engineers to support clients with solution concept
  • Gather market intelligence from clients & competitive activity. Determine key projects executed in the market and reasons for win / loss
  • Manage key accounts to ensure operation stability and identify scope for up selling
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans and progress update and keep leadership apprised of the progress
  • Support marketing team in digital campaigns & activation including events, conferences & other offline marketing (journals, magazines)
